Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the arrival date.

Cancellation less than 48 hours before the arrival date: the first night will be charged.

24 hours before arrival, a $200 security deposit per unit will be charged to your credit card to confirm the booking.

If the deposit payment fails, our team will contact you. Without a response within a reasonable time, the reservation may be automatically canceled.

The main difference between our rooms and our studios lies in the presence of a full kitchen.

Studio: Designed for independent stays, each studio is equipped with a full kitchen, perfect for preparing meals and avoiding dining out. A feature appreciated by guests with food intolerances or allergies. Studios include all the amenities of a room, plus access to a stove, dishes, pots, a toaster, and an 18 ft refrigerator.

Room: Ideal for a quick stopover, each room offers a convenient dining corner with a 3 ft mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker.
👉 Whether you choose a studio with a kitchen or a fully equipped room, you’ll always enjoy the comfort of Studios de la mer and an exceptional view of the St. Lawrence River.

For safety, comfort, and insurance compliance reasons, it is not permitted to add extra guests or bring an air mattress, camp bed, or similar setup into the units.
Each accommodation is designed for a specific number of guests. Exceeding this capacity can cause damage and compromise safety in case of an emergency.

Yes, small breed dogs (under 25 lbs / 11 kg) are allowed in certain units, with an additional fee.

🐾Important Information:

Bring your pet’s bed for their comfort.

It is not recommended to let your dog swim: the river in front of Studios de la mer contains brackish water (a mix of fresh and salt water), which is not ideal for dogs’ skin or digestion.

Our bathrooms are not designed to accommodate animals, and since we use a well for our water supply, washing your dog on-site is not permitted. A grooming service is available at Mondou.

Your dog must be leashed at all times, never left alone in the unit, and you are responsible for cleaning up after them and removing any hair.

For reasons of space, maintenance, and safety, large dogs, cats, crocodiles (and any pets that are a little too unique 🙃) are unfortunately not allowed.

To make your stay as pleasant and convenient as possible, several essentials are included in all our units:

All you need to do is drop off your bags and enjoy your stay!

For practical and sanitary reasons, we do not provide the following items:

🚫 Food and condiments: spices, oil, margarine, sugar, etc. (plan to bring your own if you cook)

🚫 Beach towels and robes: bring your own if you plan to relax by the river or go swimming nearby

No. All bedding and bathroom items must remain in the units. Please respect this rule to maintain the quality and hygiene of the provided materials.

🚭 Indoors: Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited in the rooms and studios.

🚬 Outdoors: Allowed, at a minimum distance of 9 meters from the buildings.
-
⚠️ Failure to comply with this rule will result in a $200 fee automatically deducted from your deposit.

Les studios de la mer is committed to respecting the environment. Since we use a well for our water supply, every effort to reduce waste is especially valuable.
We invite you to:

Reduce your water consumption (e.g., shorter showers, turn off the tap while brushing your teeth)

Use the reusable items provided (e.g., dishes, sponges, towels)

Avoid unnecessary disposable products
Every small action counts to preserve our beautiful region and ensure a sustainable stay that respects the Gaspésie nature.

No. According to SOPFEU, it is prohibited to make a fire within 30 feet of the shore, for safety and fire prevention reasons.
But don’t worry! We provide a covered outdoor fire pit, perfect for enjoying a warm evening safely.

Use driftwood long enough to fit properly in the fire pit and allow the door to close.

We also sell logs cut to the right size, ready to use!

The fire pit door must remain closed at all the times during the fire.

Always make sure to fully extinguish your fire before leaving.

And if the wind allows… enjoy it!

There is no official curfew, but from 10 PM onward, quiet hours are in effect to respect all guests.
If you want to continue your evening, you can head down to the shore, at a safe distance from the units.

Check-in: between 4 PM and 9 PM

Check-out: no later than 10 AM
👉 For an early departure, simply leave the keys in the studio or room before leaving.

Yes. We ask that you leave the kitchen clean before your departure. If not, a $50 fee will be deducted from your $200 deposit.
